On April 27, 2019, China Sports Lottery · Chongqing Tieshanping Forest Half Marathon kicked off with the gunshot of the pistol. Nearly 5,000 runners started competing in the Tieshanping Forest Park while enjoying the fresh air.

Around 5,000 runners participated in the 2019 Chongqing Tieshanping Forest Half Marathon

Tieshanping Forest International Half Marathon has been held for three sessions successfully until now. This time, there are two programs of Half Marathon (21.0975 kilometers) and Mini Marathon (5.8 kilometers). The latter one consists of a public group and a family group.

The family group

The racing track ran through the overall park with picturesque landscapes and broad view. The runners started from the visitor center and ran across the well-known scenic spots such as the Flower Fields, Camping Base, Tieshanping Walk Path, and Zen Garden. While running in this competition, people also had the chance to watch the beautiful sceneries along the track.

No matter children or the senior were enjoying the marathon

Tieshanping Forest Park is one of the four ecological shelter zones of the main urban regions of Chongqing and a National AAAA Tourist Attraction. It is also a natural oxygen bar of Chongqing’s suburbs. In the mountain city of Chongqing, thanks to these nature-endowed conditions, the racing track has unique features, embraced by green trees of different kinds. The runners can seek for self-transcendence and enjoy the delightful sports in the charming nature. This competition experience should be incomparable in Chongqing and the rest places of Sichuan and Chongqing regions.

After the fierce competition, Zhao Hao, a much-anticipated Chongqing runner, won the champion of the men’s group with the result of 01:15:15.
