Chongqing-On March 22, the 2019 Chongqing Spring Tourism Opening Ceremony and the 2019 Chinese Landscape & Tea Culture Festival Opening Ceremony was held in the Bloomage LIVE Banan International Sports and Culture Center, Banan District.

Experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from such industries as culture, tourism, agriculture, and finance made keynote speeches and discussed new approaches to the revitalization of rural areas in Western China represented by Banan District, Chongqing. These speeches included the Ecology Priority and Green Development — Change Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains into Invaluable Assets, the Rural Revitalization Strategy — Promote the Development of Rural Culture and Tourism Industry with the Construction of Ecological Livable Villages, and the Practice the Theory of “Two Mountains” and Build the Beautiful Countryside.

According to the introduction in the opening ceremony, from March 23 to 29, Banan will hold the 2019 Spring Tea Culture Week of “Heart Appointment”. The culture week will provide wonderful activities for friends from all over the world, such as the tea art performance and the Preparation Ceremony of “Public Welfare Fund for the Rural Poor”. In addition, there will also be summits of “Learning to Make Tea in Chongqing” and “On Tea”, Bayu Culture Forum, and literature collecting activities such as “Bayu Writers Going to the Primary-Level Communities for Creating Dreams of Banan”.

In addition, from March to April, Banan will also hold a photography and micro-video competition under the theme of “Spring Flowers Bloom When I Meet You in Banan”. It is open to photography lovers for collecting photography works that reflect the achievements of constructing the beautiful and blessed villages in Banan District since the 19th CPC National Congress and show the scenes of people’s happy life, as well as harmonious development for building a beautiful homeland together.

Moreover, Banan is going to hold 20 supporting activities for you to enjoy yourselves, which include the Tianping Mountain International Bicycle Competition, the 2019 Opening Ceremony for Foreigners Learning Techniques of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Chongqing, and the Tianping Mountain Pear Blossom Tourism Culture Festival. They also include the Flower Sea Art Carnival of High Mountain & Flower Sea Garden, the Low-altitude Flight Tourism Festival of Golden Beech and Qilin (Kylin) Flower Sea, the Yanglu Mountain Rape Flower Festival, the Tourism and Culture Festival of Folk-Custom and Flower in Jielong Town, and the Banan Jinlan Spring Cross-Country Running.

Additionally, it will also hold activities like the 2019 Quality Tourism of Banan and the Miss Chongqing Going to Banan, and it is going to join the 2019 Chongqing Yunduan Flowers Expo. It is determined to help more domestic and foreign tourists to understand and experience the charm of “Enjoying the Four Seasons, Ecological Banan” through online promotion and offline activities.
