The Chongqing Global travel agents Conference 2018 will kick off from November 9 to 15. Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture Tourism Development and the People’s Government of Nan’an District organize the conference together.

An Intensive Exhibition of Chongqing’s Tourism Image

This conference will launch products in five aspects of Chongqing’s tourism image. “City”, “Three Gorges”, “Cultural”, “Hot Spring”, and “Countryside” are 5 tourist regions, as tourism images in Chongqing. Chongqing will integrally roll out the products of tourism image. It aims to make an in-depth and comprehensive introduction to the participants about its tourism image. This will show the world “A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal”. Otherwise, it offers them “A Journey to New Accomplishments”, which is the unique charm of Chongqing.

In addition, it will generalize the exquisite tourist routes on the spot. Before the conference, guests have a chance to conduct the on-site investigation on the exquisite routes. Routes cover the metropolis, cultural heritage, natural heritage, Three Gorges, and hot springs for wellness. Those travel agencies attending the conference will fully experience the beautiful scenery of Chongqing in groups.

It is worth mentioning that the conference will display Chongqing’s cultural elements. Unique shows will demonstrate the charm of Chongqing’s culture. Shows contain different regions, like Thousand-Hand Guan Yin, Impressive Wulong, Sichuan Opera Face Changing, and Chongqing RAP, etc. It will also make efforts to manage the APPs for conference service, including such areas: volunteers, souvenirs, snacks or beverages, and so on. These efforts will reflect the urban features of Chongqing and show its good tourism image.

20 Projects Expected to Be Signed

The conference will organize Chongqing’s enterprises of tourism, scenic areas, cruises, and hot spring to participate in the “First Chongqing International Travel Fair” held during the same period by Chongqing Tourism Association. Then they will have one-to-one business negotiations with the travel agencies present, to facilitate enterprise cooperation in a deeper and broader way. Meanwhile, some heavyweights will also attend the Chongqing Inbound Tourism Symposium, to discuss how to further expand the inbound tourism market in Chongqing.

20 projects are predicted to be signed during the conference, including municipal-level tourism promotional and cooperative projects. Enterprise and institutions, such as Ctrip, Mast Company of Singapore, and Belarus Commodity Center of Cultural Tourism, will conduct promotion and cooperation in tourism with counties and districts like Wansheng District, Nan’an District, and Yubei District. Tourism enterprises in Chongqing will also sign the contract with foreign travel agencies in group travel and reception.
