During last weekend, Hanfeng Lake witnessed a wonderful motorboat version of the Fast and the Furious.
On October 20, the 2018 Motorboat International Open China Chongqing Kaizhou-Hanfeng Lake was grandly launched.
More than 100 world top motorboat candidates from 15 countries including China, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Italy, Britain, Portugal, etc. participated in the contest. The competition was divided into the open group and the international group. It included RL3 race, the JO race, the RS1 race, and RF race, Chinese Formula motorboat race, RL1 race, the GP race. The water area of Hanfeng Lake in Kaizhou district is 15 square kilometers. The water area is quite wide and open, with a depth of more than 3 meters. Not only motorboats played a major role in the competition, but water sports such as paddle board, water skiing, kayaking, row boats, and dragon boats were also launched in Hanfeng Lake this time. Taking the grand event as the starting point, a water sports base with motorboat sports as the main attraction has been set in the Hanfeng Lake area.
