400 worldwide travel agents will purchase products of "Inbound Tourism" in Chongqing

The Chongqing Global travel agents Conference 2018 will kick off in Nan’an District from November 9 to 15. Wang Maochun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Nan’an District Committee announced at a press conference days before. Nearly 400 representatives of tour operators around the world will visit Chongqing to investigate and purchase tourism products.

World Travel & Tourism Council issued an inform days ago -the City Travel & Tourism Impact 2018. It analyzed the tourism economy of 72 cities worldwide. According to the direct contribution of tourism revenue to GDP, Chongqing becomes the fastest growing tourism cities.

Moreover, Mr. Qin Dingbo, Deputy Director of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture Tourism Development, indicated that the conference would vigorously promote Chongqing’s tourism products to overseas tour operators. “With the rapidly increasing inbound tourism of Chongqing in recent years, its products become growingly abundant. But there is still a lot of space for improvement in the overall tourism industry.” Qin Dingbo said.

Cooperation with Other Platforms to Promote Culture and Tourism in Chongqing

The conference invited  nearly 400 global tour operators, mainly from  20 countries as Singapore, the USA, South Korea, New Zealand, and Belarus, etc. 

Wang Maochun indicated that licensing ceremony will kick off on occasion. A series of exchange and cooperation platforms for international cultural tourism, as Chongqing International Communication Center for Culture and Tourism, and Chongqing Office of Sino-American Friendship Association, will be licensed.

During the conference, to attract tour operators from all over the world, Chongqing will release the document-Revised Tourism Marketing Incentives of Chongqing during the “13th Five-year Plan” Period. Furthermore, it will publicize a range of permissible policies for travel facilitation to the participants. Policies contain international tourist teams handling the port visa, the 72-hour visa-free transit policy, and the policy of departure tax refunds for foreign tourists.
