2021 marks the beginning of China's new five-year (2021-2015) plan period and the 100th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China (CPC). As a key event in the city's political calendar of 2021, The Chongqing Two Sessions is held from January 20 to 25. This year’s annual meeting will deliberate and approve of the 14th five-year plan and the Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035 of Chongqing Municipality and set goals for the next five year’s economic and social development.
