The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Economy Industry Forum will be held in Chongqing from August 23 to 25. Chongqing and Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is one of the most important strategic partners of China Railway Express (YUXINOU), and also the current destination of Chongqing-Central Asia freight train.

On November 17, 2020, a cross-border highway regular lorry loaded with pipeline materials left Chongqing's Banan District for Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, marking the official opening of the Kazakhstan-bound line of Chongqing cross-border highway regular lorry.

Chongqing and Kyrgyzstan

In May 2019, representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and embassies in China came to Chongqing to attend the "2019 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of Region Meeting."

In December 2019, Muratbek Imanaliev, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, came to Chongqing to attend the Third Conference of the CICA Non-Governmental Forum.

Chongqing and Russia

Chongqing and Russia are each other's strategic partners in transportation and logistics.

In 2018, under the framework of the Year of China-Russia Local Cooperation and Exchange, Chongqing, as the guest of honor of China, attended the 5th China-Russia Expo and the 1st China-Russia Local Cooperation Forum.

Chongqing and Tajikistan

In February 2018, Parviz Davlatzoda, the then Tajik Ambassador to China, visited Chongqing as a member of the Delegation of Envoys of SCO Member States to China.

In December 2019, Ambassador Parviz Davlatzoda came to Chongqing again to attend the Third Conference of the CICA Non-Governmental Forum.

Chongqing and Uzbekistan

On April 17 to 19, 2018, a delegation from Tashkent City of Uzbekistan came to Chongqing to attend the activities related to the United Nations Maritime and Continental Silk Road Cities Alliance Smart City & New Industry Committee (UNMCSR-SNC), and signed the agreement of intention to join the Cities Alliance and the agreement of intention to establish a commercial and trade center of Uzbekistan in Chongqing.

Chongqing and Belarus

In March 2017, Chongqing established sister-city ties with Minsk Oblast.

Chongqing and Belarus are each other's strategic partners for the construction of the China Railway Express (Chongqing) Project. On November 8, 2018, the reception ceremony of the Belarus-Chongqing train was held in Chongqing, representing the normal operation of the Chongqing-Belarus direct train.

Chongqing and Azerbaijan

Chongqing maintains close cooperation with Azerbaijan in people-to-people exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, local friendly engagement, and other fields. Chongqing Lifan Technology Group has built an automobile assembly factory in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and Chongqing's Jiangjin District has established local friendly exchange relationships with Sumgait City. After the outbreak of COVID-19, Jiangjin District donated a batch of anti-epidemic materials to its sister city Sumgait, Azerbaijan.

Chongqing and Armenia

From March 5 to 7, 2018, Armenian Ambassador to China Sergey Manasaryan was invited to visit Chongqing, which was the Ambassador's second visit to Chongqing after the first one at the end of February as a member of the Delegation of Envoys of SCO Member States to China.
