The 24 Solar Terms, a time-keeping system developed over centuries through the observation of the sun's annual motion, encompass celestial phenomena, seasonal changes, and natural rhythms. Recognized as China's “Fifth Great Invention,” the 24 Solar Terms were inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2016.
