HOT SPRING FEATURES

More than just a Hot Spring site, Tongjing is also a place to enjoy nature. You can take bamboo rafts to cross the river and enjoy the riverside views that are reminiscent of the lesser three gorges. Along the river, you can also find a habitat of Chinese White Monkeys. The area surrounding this place is often referred to as the Monkey Valley, due to the large number of monkeys living here. The monkeys are generally very gentle, but remember that these are wild animals. Therefore, try not to stare at any one monkey for a prolonged period of time, but look around as much as possible to avoid provoking them.
