Tongluoshan Mine Park

Tongluoshan Mine Park is sandwiched between Shichuan Town and Yufengshan Town in Yubei District Chongqing. It boasts 41 limestone pits in different sizes and shapes, out of which 12 have become ponds, including the "colorful pond" and "heart-shaped pond." The color of the water changes with the time of day, the Sun's path, and temperature.

Pits like pearls inlaid in steep mines, and jade green water glitters in the sunlight. Chongqing Linkong Culture and Tourism Development Co., Ltd invested around 100 million yuan ($15.7 million) in developing the mine park's ecological and tourism. It has planted about 8,000 trees, 150 square kilometers of shrubs and lawns, 14 viewing platforms, and received 0.5 million tourists.

The park will protect mine pits, restore the ecological environment, and highlight the scenic spots by providing an immersive mine traveling experience. It is expected to build a national 5A scenic area that integrates ecological restoration, science popularization, culture and healthcare, and relaxing vacation.
