Chongqing has developed into a transportation and logistics hub in South West China. Jiangbei International Airport is now one of the busiest in the country, helping to connect Eastern China with the Western provinces and the rest of the world. But Chongqing's own transportation system is also very well developed, and traveling around the city, especially using the light rail system is not only convenient but also cheap and effective. Most of Chongqing's attractions in the downtown area are all easily reached by the CRT lines, and taxis and private cars are easy to find and cheap as well.
Chongqing also has multiple train stations, making travel to nearby cities fast and convenient, several high-speed train lines connect Chongqing with the rest of China.
