In this episode, I was invited to one of the "fanciest" hotpot restaurants in Chongqing and got a first-hand look at what goes on back in the kitchen, including how they prepare the food and select the ingredients. It was definitely a first-hand experience and a unique one in the many hotpot restaurants I've been to. On top of this, I got to watch a Sichuan-style face-changing performance and Chinese umbrella dancing - a real "feast for the senses"! I have to say that I haven't been to a hotpot like this before!
