Chongqing Acrobatic Troupe Glitters at The Moscow International Youth Festival

Dancing with Water Meteor “Girls under the Starry Sky”, an original show created by Chongqing Acrobatic Troupe, China, stood out from the rest 24 participants from 11 countries at the 17th Moscow International Youth Festival concluded on September 11, 2018.

The winner has earned itself the only qualification at the festival for the final of the 43rd Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival in 2019.

Chongqing Acrobatic Troupe has innovated the technique and choreography of “Girls under the Starry Sky”. This group has added up modern dance elements into the performance for the first time, presenting one awe-inspiring act after another.

The jaw-dropping acrobatics won the hearts of audience and competition judges. H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, and also as the President of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, awarded the qualification of New Generation, the circus competition for young artists, which will take place on February 2 and 3, 2019.
