On 21 Sep., as one of series events of 2018 Chongqing Fashion Week, the 1st Indoor Fashion Show on Ice was held on a ski field in Jihuayuan Park, Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing.

Frozen Fashion on Ice
This fashion show themed with snow, which aims to make a fusion of technology, fashion, dancing performance, and music in order to bring aesthetic experiences to audiences.
Why ski field? The fashion designer Yichao Zhang indicated that it is creative to hold fashion show in indoor ski field, this idea could bring audiences to experience the feel of freezing in fashion, and it is a fashionable option to realize this idea in Jihuayuan Park.
Liangjiang New Area will Held Series of Shows
Besides the Indoor Fashion Show on Ice, there are series of fashion shows in following weeks. There would be the 1st University Students and Yangtze River Cup Design Contest, the Creative Works Exhibition and other events are under organizing. The series of fashion activities would enhance the fashion industry development in Chongqing.
Demonstrated from Zhang, she is optimistic about the further development of fashion in Chongqing. Chongqing is the origin of Bayu culture that has its unique city characteristics, Liangjiang New Area is the pioneer of the development, will lead the fashion industry develops better. Jie Huang, the director of Liangjiang New Area’s Modern Service Center, has pointed out that Liangjiang New Area is now planning the strategy of fashion industry, his office will encourage fashion enterprise establish the headquarters in Liangjiang New Area. Liangjiang New Area plans to be the city’s center of fashion in 2020.
