Let EU Chamber of Commerce Tell You Why Should Foreign Investment Choose Chongqing

Chongqing is the youngest Municipality directly under the Central Government in China. It has been a very attractive land for foreign investment nowadays. During the time, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) has actively promoted the city among Europeans. Its branch office has operated in Chongqing for 7 years. 

The Position Paper Launch was held in Chongqing

Oct.18 witnessed the Position Paper Launch 2018/2019  held in Chongqing. The launch attracted European companies and foreign organizations in Chongqing to actively participate.

The Position Paper Launch is one of the most important annual events of EUCC in China. The Paper conducted a survey of European enterprises in China. It made an analysis on the market and gave business suggestions to concerning parties. It has proved to be a very valuable reference to companies and governments.

Adam Dunnett, the Secretary-General of EUCC, gave a detailed explanation about the Position Paper. He also gave another important publication 18 months since Davos during the launch.

The heads of EUCC talked about Chongqing's investment environment

After the media release, iChongqing took an exclusive interview with Mr. Adam and Mr. Dominik. Mr. Dominik is the vice president of EUCCC southwest China office. Let's hear about their comments on Chongqing’s investment environment.

Mr. Dominik clarifies Chongqing’s strong points to attract foreign investment in the interview. “Chongqing is the fastest growing cities in China. And it still got a large potential for development. It very well connects with China and the world in transportation. It gets very qualified labor pool here.” Said he.

The Secretary-General of EUCCC positively commended on Chongqing’s development. Mr Adam also suggested that it was necessary for Chongqing to focus on innovation and to take a leading role in doing things that haven’t happened in other cities.

The interview with the heads of EUCC provides a meaningful reference about Chongqing’s business environment from a foreign perspective.
