2018 Chongqing International Creative Week Unveils

On Nov. 12, the opening ceremony of the 2018 Chongqing International Creative Week kicked off in Bloomage LIVE Banan International Sports and Culture Center. More than 200 guests witnessed the opening of the international and city-level event in this Mountain City. In addition, most of these guests were from the cultural and creative industry, practitioners and design enthusiasts.

The event is held under the guidance of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and Chongqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. It is organized by the People’s Government of Banan District of Chongqing, Chongqing Daily, Chongqing Creative Designers Association and Chongqing Huaxi Guoxin Sports Culture Industry Development Co., Ltd., is a combination of the original event in West China.

Amazing Masterpieces Enriched the Creative Week

Jimmy Lam (Lin Junming) and Tomaz Mok (Mo Kangsun) founded the Longxi Worldwide Chinese Language Advertising Awards (Longxi Awards) in 1999. It is the only Chinese Language advertising selection campaign recognized by the international advertising industry. The Longxi Chinese Language Creative Exhibition gathered thousands of outstanding masterpieces from the Chinese advertising industry. Additionally, these masterpieces mostly came from “Classic Retrospective Exhibition for Longxi Chinese Language Creative Awards”. Moreover, The exhibition brought in nearly 1,000 masterpieces of the 100 juries who were the final juries over the years. There were more than 600 video masterpieces and more than 300 graphic design masterpieces. “It is the first time in China that these excellent advertising masterpieces have been displayed in such a large scale.” according to Xia Xiao, an exhibition planner.

Besides, the theme was the “Chinese Kung Fu Again” of the exhibition. At the entrance to the hall, the human-brain pictures composed of various actions of Kung Fu is very striking. Xia Xiao indicated there were many interactive links in the exhibition. The event preferred more visitors would take in the essence of creativity and stimulate their own creative inspiration.

Meanwhile, the Art Exhibition for the 4th China Interior Design Art Week showcased more than 300 exhibits selected from thousands of entries. It gathered outstanding masterpieces of top domestic interior designers in 2018. According to Kong Xiang, an exhibition planner, it is the first time that the Commission of the Interior Design Annual Meeting brought the 4th Interior Design Art Week in Chongqing and opened it to the public.

Accompanied by the opening of 2018 Chongqing International Creative Week, the Longxi Chinese Language Creative Exhibition and the Art Exhibition for the 4th China Interior Design Art Week were unveiled successfully, becoming the high-profile cultural creative activities on the first day of the Creative Week. The 2018 Chongqing International Creative Week, which includes 8 major sections including interior design, urban architecture, and product design.
