Chongqing Museum Has Free Exhibition on Science and Tech

Chinese calligraphy works write down a great history, paintings draw signs of progress of the era and photographs record precious changes.

Chongqing Association for Science and Technology (CQAST) organized the Sci-Tech Exhibition of Calligraphy, Painting and Photography on January 2.

It serves as a celebration for the 40th and 60th anniversaries of reform and opening-up as well as of the establishment of the China Association for Science and Technology respectively.

Held in the Chongqing Museum, or Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, the exhibition also intends to review Chongqing scientific workers’ experiences in reform and innovation. The public can visit it for free.

The exhibition has collected over 1,400 works from no less than 1,000 active participants. Works exhibited fall into more than 10 categories, including Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, canvas, lacquer painting and photography.

CQAST selected over 200 pieces for the Exhibition. These exhibits depict the beauty of mountains and waters and pleasure from nature and reflect the affection of traditional arts.

These works are also proof of their passion for career and colorful lives.
