Chongqing - Chinese New Year is around the corner. People are in a great mood for a wonderful celebration.
Maria from Russia and Mulkesh from India are running the coffee business with the brand-You and Coffee in Chongqing. At the busy sales season, they were preparing New Year coffee gift box for their customers. All the Spring Festival elements in the box can show their love for the culture and business.
“Our idea this month for Chinese New Year is to put currency from different countries in the red pockets (in the New Year coffee gift box)” Said Maria, as she was preparing the coffee package for shipment.
“Last year I still had a company in Russia, I closed it and decided to switch my focus to the Chinese market. So I think it was kind of big step.” Said Maria. It is challenging to start up business in a foreign country, but the coming year is also very promising for them. At the approaching of Chinese New Year, their coffee sales also went up. “People actually tend to buy more because they want to buy them as a gift. There are a lot of good coffee roasters in Chongqing and in China
Now I’m really happy about it that actually I decided to switch.” Said Maria.
