2019 China (Chongqing) International Food Festival to Open This Saturday

Chongqing-The 2019 China (Chongqing) International Food Festival and the 13th China Catering Industry Conference will be held on April 27-29 at the Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center in Nan’an District, according to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce. Its host is the China Cuisine Association.

The event will focus on building Chongqing into an international consumer center, serve as a platform for experience exchange, brand promotion and trade match-making for the national catering industry, and further promote Chongqing's catering culture.

In addition, Chongqing is famous for its hotpot and Xiao Mian, or Chongqing noodles.

Highlights in advance

The conference scheduled on April 27 will gather about 1,000 participants from relevant commercial commissions, catering associations, enterprises and experts. In addition, 2018 Yearbook of China Restaurant and Catering Industry will be published.

The event will organize well-known catering brands, third-party service companies, investment and financing institutions at home and abroad, to carry out franchise activities, and to promote the development of China's catering industry at large.

As a professional exhibition for the Chinese food and beverage industry, the exhibition attracted more than 200 well-known catering enterprise brands, ingredients, raw and auxiliary materials manufacturers and supply chain companies from all over the country.

In order to display the brand image of Chongqing hotpot and promote the chain development of Chongqing hotpot enterprises, this exhibition specially set up “Chongqing Hotpot Experience Hall” in the outdoor square.

Chinese hotpot ingredients trading platform will be officially unveiled during this event.

The exhibition is also an implementation of poverty alleviation through consumption.
