Chongqing Will Fly Regular Cargo Airline to Ethiopia in June

On April 27, Ethiopian Airlines, the Port and Logistics Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, and Chongqing Airport Group Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Beijing. In this June at the soonest, Chongqing will open a non-stop and regular cargo flight to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

This signed contract includes three regular cargo airlines of Chongqing—Addis Ababa—Lome—Sao Paulo—San Diego, Chongqing—Dubai—Addis Ababa—Lome—Sao Paulo—San Diego, and Chongqing—New Delhi—Addis Ababa—Lome—Sao Paulo—San Diego.

After reaching Addis Ababa, the airplanes will be bound for Brazil and Chile with the same flight numbers. They will be regular cargo airlines with the longest flying distance and the largest number of destinations in China so far. They will transport laptops, mobile phones and other products made in Chongqing to the Middle East, India, Africa, and South America to satisfy the local demands.
