Chongqing has various modes of transportation

According to Mr. Zhang, he visited Chongqing several times per year since 2000. On his point of view, the investment opportunities started to transfer from coastal area to west inland whereas Chongqing is under the development of the western region in China. Consequently, talent dividends and land resources promote the development of Chongqing as an inland city to be an open highland. Chongqing is playing a crucial role in southwest China for its logistics with the largest western harbor. Chongqing has various modes of transportation such as ports, China Railway Express (China-Europe Train), and road transport. “We are expecting the possibility of such a transport logistics from Europe to Chongqing to coastal cities and continue toward to Southeast Asian countries with the seamless custom declaration,” Mr. Zhang said. Nissin Corporation is now doing the negotiation with China Railway Express companies for further logistic possibilities.

Demonstrated cases: medical instruments and railway transit

Mr. Zhang introduced the demonstrated cases by Nissin Corporation and its local partner Meten in Chongqing. “in 2001, in Japan's plan of assisting Chongqing maternal and children's health care hospitals, we helped them to transport the medical instruments”, Mr. Zhang indicated, “in addition to that, for Chongqing's CRT (Chongqing Railway Transit), with the cooperation with Meten, our local partner in Chongqing, we transport the originally imported compartment from Japan. We now serve as the logistics supplier for Ford and Dongfeng”, he added.
