Chongqing- The 2019 Chongqing-Taiwan University Summer Camp for Media Study kicked off at Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality, July 2, 2019.
The 2019 Chongqing-Taiwan University Summer Camp for Media Study kicks off at Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality, July 2, 2019.
Nearly 30 college students from Chongqing Normal University and National Changhua Normal University are scheduled to conduct internship interviews and pair exchanges in Chongqing to enhance mutual understanding of cross-strait university students. As of now, Chongqing Normal University has cooperated and exchanged with educational institutions from more than 30 countries and regions.
Liu Jiannan, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, announced the opening.
According to the opening ceremony, the 8-day the summer camp involves themed lectures on traditional media reform, films, as well as film and television shooting techniques. Students will jointly produce daily news and will visit CQCB, a Chongqing-based mainstream media.
In addition to professional study, city tours are part of the program. Visits to the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Gallery, an industrial park for Taiwanese businesses, ancient town and others will enhance the cultural exchanges between the students from Chongqing and Taiwan. Spicy Chongqing hot pot and the amazing night view are also included.
The year of 2019 witnesses the 3rd edition of the Chongqing-Taiwan University Media Study Summer Camp. The program is hosted by the Chongqing Cross-Strait Exchange Promotion Association and Chongqing Normal University.
