The 12-day "New China" journey began today! CGTN's mobile studio has hit the road, driving along three routes to explore the length and breadth of the country.

The live show will travel from China's old industrial based in the northeast to its new manufacturing powerhouse in the south, taking you on a trip to explore the natural beauty of the country and the remarkable transformation the People's Republic of China had undergone over the past 70 years.
In northeast China, CGTN reporters will tour the three provinces of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang all the way to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. These were the earliest regions in the country to industrialize.
Meanwhile, another batch of CGTN explorers will make their way through the southern parts of the country, from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to Shanghai in the east.
China's southwest also earned a spot on our itinerary owing to its diverse cuisine, beautiful scenery, and major construction achievements like the world's largest power station, the Three Gorges Dam.
