On November 1, the 2nd Upper Yangtze River City Flower Art Expo kicked off in Chongqing. The Expo brings many attractive highlights, aiming to present Chongqing citizens an international feast of flowers with unique culture and intelligence technology.
The expo will enable citizens to enjoy flower art while immersing in the pleasant floral aroma.
Various gardens and parks will be present: Hotpot Garden, Jiangbei Garden, and Smart Garden, the three core exhibition parks collectively to embrace the future; the exhibition area named Landscape of Chongqing, meticulously designed by 21 districts and counties; Dream House area, featuring flower-decorated courtyards, balconies, and roof gardens; as well as Garden of Craftsmanship and Fantastic Plants, aiming to present aesthetics of plants and gather wonderful flowers around the world. These will enable citizens to enjoy the flower art while immersing in the pleasant floral aroma.

The recommended route is to enjoy the banquet of flowers and horticulture and the miniature landscape of the Two Rivers and Four Riversides at Chongqing Grand Theater; walk around the bazaar and flower commodities fair at Chongqing Central Park, and bring the most innovative cultural and creative articles home.

To provide visitors with rememberable experience, the Expo takes “City Garden” as the general concept and built up an urban flower street at Jiangbeizui CBD. It is in clever combination with Chongqing Central Park, Beibin Road, Likely Wharf, etc., where sceneries, embellished by delicate flowers and gardens, are different from one another. Chongqing International Finance Square (Chongqing IFS) also provides popular delicacies and product discounts. Visitors are also recommended to take photos with the huge panda and camellia artistic installations named “Love. Found”.
During the Expo, Jiangbeizui will not only stage a flower art banquet to show people’s good life but also open the X-zoo Animal-themed Park, Mingyuzhen Emperor’s Mausoleum, Cehou Pavilion and other scenic spots of art, history, and culture. It is worth mentioning that at 14:00-17:00 on November 1-3, Tieshanping Forest Park will observe a music festival themed on “Flowers and the World”, which is devoted to the Expo. Then, it will present three special performances of pop music, folk song, and classical music.
Jiangbeizui CBD will also open scenic spots of art, history, and culture.
