Breathtaking Beauty of Tieshanping Forest Park’s Oriental Cherry Avenue

The oriental cherry trees along the avenue in Tieshanping Forest Park are in full bloom. There are more than 1,500 cherry trees spreading over at places including Xiajiang Viewing Platform and Xiafeng Road. The oriental cherry avenue is about one kilometer long is lined with cherry trees and pink flowers stand out in the sunlight. Such a gorgeous view presents the avenue as a poetic world.

On the sunny day, the avenue attracted an endless stream of tourists. “We drove here for the fresh air and charming landscape,” said the citizen Mr. Li. Wearing a mask and taking a cup, he was strolling with four friends.

The natural and cultural landscapes in Tieshanping Forest Park are shown incisively and vividly there. Besides the oriental cherry, other flowers are also blooming one after another, such as azaleas, peach blossoms, pear flowers, Redleaf Cherry Plum flowers, and begonias.

You can view the peach blossoms, plum blossoms, pear flowers, Chaenomeles speciosa, mangnolia flowers, red maples, photinia serrulata, red plum blossoms, camellias and Chinese redbud.

Recommended route 3: Tieshan Square―Tieshan Avenue―Songcui Falls―Chanyuan Road―Xiajiang Viewing Platform―Huatian Mixiang

You can watch the magnolia liliiflora, red plum blossoms, Redleaf Cherry Plum flowers, red maples, begonias, camellias, photinia serrulata, chamomile and Chinese roses.

Take Bus No. 813 at Jianxin East Road or Wulidian and get off at Cuiwei Road in Tieshanping Forest Park.

Take Bus No. 817 at Jianxin East Road or Wulidian and get off at Nvzhizhong/Tongluoxia Station, and then enter Tieshanping Forest Park.

Take Bus No. 885 at Chongqing Bei (North) Railway Station or Luneng Xingcheng (Yulu Interchange) and get off at Nvzhizhong Station, and then enter Tieshanping Forest Park.
