According to information from Banan District on October 14, the 24th Chongqing Chrysanthemum Art Show will be held in Banan District from October 28 and will last for one month. By then, there will be both gorgeous chrysanthemum flowers and lantern shows, giving citizens an opportunity to fully enjoy Banan District's unique beauty in autumn.

Chongqing Chrysanthemum Art Show is the city's highest-level and also largest chrysanthemum exhibition, which has been successfully held in Chongqing Garden Expo, Nanshan Botanical Garden, and other places for 23 years. Previous shows were generally held in municipal parks, scenic areas, and other enclosed spaces. But this year, a layout of "one line, two areas and three points" (i.e. riverside line, Longzhou Bay area and South Hot Spring Park area, and Chahua Square, Huaxi Sports Center, Longzhou Bay Business Street) will be followed. It can be seen that all of them are public open spaces, so this year's show will be open and free throughout.

Officials from the Sports Bureau of Sichuan and the Sports Bureau of Chengdu will be also invited, as an active move to implement the coordination mechanism for the development of sports industries of Chongqing and Sichuan, conduct deep cooperation, and build a communication platform for integrated development, contributing to the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
At the conference, the issue of how to develop the sports tourism industry in an innovative manner under regular epidemic prevention and control will be discussed. During the conference, the Administration of Sport of Chongqing and Consulate General of the UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Chongqing will sign the Memorandum on Cooperation in Sports Development, in pursuit of strengthening cooperation in football, sports infrastructures and the introduction of sports events. Chongqing is expected to introduce British football, motor racing, snooker, horse riding, rugby, aquatic sports, and outdoor sports. Chongqing will also strengthen cooperation in the design, upgrading, and operation and services of sports events for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and other major events.
Moreover, the Administration of Sport of Chongqing and Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development will release three quality projects including sports tourism events, routes, and complex. The Administration of Sport of Chongqing will sign a strategic cooperation agreement with the Sichuan Tourism Investment Group to deepen cooperation between sports and scenic areas.
