Niccolo Lecture: Explore Art of Downtown Chongqing’s Skyline

On Nov. 12, an art sharing session Niccolo Lecture spanning different fields kicked off in the Niccolo Hotel Chongqing. In the panel discussion, three guests from the fields of design, architecture, and visual art are specially invited: Ms. Wang Jiayi, Professor Liang Ting, Director Chen Jiaxin, and Chongqing Niccolo Hotel Manager Mr. Wang Kai to discuss the theme "Explore the charm of the city skyline".

Ms. Wang Jiayi, as the executive vice president of the Chongqing Cultural Industry Chamber of Commerce, and the builder of the "Chongqing Two Rivers and Four Banks Lighting Project", delivered her speech from the perspective of the lighting design of the two rivers and four banks. She interprets the design concept of urban light show and aesthetics elements including the unity of humanities, economics, and ecological values.

Professor Liang Ting shared the urban style of the mountain city Chongqing from the perspective of architectural art, and analyzed the essence of traditional Chinese architecture and Western architecture.

OurFilm Studio project: A French Girl in Chongqing

Mr. Chen Jiaxin, as a well-known local director, he loved to explore the city via interesting angles. His featured film A French Girl in Chongqing was awarded overseas and famous locally.

Mr. Wang Kai, the manager of Niccolo Hotel, introduced the story behind the artworks displayed in the public area of the hotel, and shared the story of the Skyline Hotel Niccolo leads the guests on a journey of city skyline charm on the top of the mountain city.

Niccolo Lectures is a series of culture salons held by Niccolo Hotel. These  activities set up a stage for adventurers, entrepreneurs, artists and celebrities from all walks of life to share their unique experiences, testimonies and journeys in Chongqing.
