Chongqing Rural Beauty, a variety show to promote beautiful villages, will premiere on Chongqing Satellite Television (Chongqing TV) on November 14 and be on air every Saturday at 21:20. It is sponsored by the Publicity Department of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, Chongqing Agriculture and Rural Committee, and Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and carried out by the Chongqing Broadcasting Group and Chongqing International Culture Association. The program has eight episodes, of which each tells stories about beautiful villages in Tongliang, Yubei, Banan, Fuling, Dazu, Rongchang, Hechuan, and Fengjie, respectively. Following the Beautiful Village Support Group, viewers can enjoy the appealing landscape and developments of Chongqing villages.
Xia Beidi, a compere of Chongqing TV, invited the host Huang Jiadi, idols and foreigners. They assume the roles of Supporter and Experience Officer respectively, to constitute the Beautiful Village Support Group.
The variety TV show is a showcase for Chongqing's achievements in securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and winning the battle against poverty. It also sings out that poverty alleviation is "the start of new life and a new journey of growth." Helped by diverting experience in villages, the program promotes distinctive cultural tourism in rural areas. Cultural creation and agricultural products show real and diverse scenery and cultures and select promotion spokespeople of villages. Such efforts aim to stimulate new progress in rural revitalization.

At each place, the Beautiful Village Support Group will select local guests of New Village, New Farmer, New Agriculture to be the spokesman of the Beautiful Villages. During the selection process, candidates can demonstrate their villages and tell their personal stories. Additionally, the Group and spokespeople will conduct live stream promotions for local products, attractions, and cultures.
