“Romantic Xuanen Meeting You in Chongqing” Promotion Event Held

Chongqing-On December 13, the “Romantic Xuanen Meeting You in Chongqing” 2020 China Xuanen Tourism (Chongqing) Promotion Event was held at Chongqing Kingworld Hotel. Located in Hubei province, Xuanen County boasts breathtaking scenery and splendid culture.

Local special performances bringing Xuanen to Chongqing

At the promotion event, local special performances were staged, which led audiences to experience Xuanen people’s sincerity and hospitality. Dances by Tujia and Miao Ethnic groups from Xuanen presented its special culture of multiple ethnic groups. Its Wine Bar Song and Tea Song brought charming Xuanen to Chongqing.

In addition, its beautiful scenery and specialty were displayed via videos, photos, and live streamings. Meanwhile, local culture and tourism products and beneficial tourism policies were introduced at the event. Audiences also got a chance to taste Xuanen’s grapefruits and tribute tea.

Located at the southwest of Hubei province and the middle of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Xuanen county enjoys unique natural resources. Multiple ethnic groups living together create remarkable cultural elements.

In recent years, with profound ethnic cultures, Xuanen has made good use of its natural resources to boost the development of tourism as a whole. With the rural tourism- “Ten Sisters” as its support, it has gradually built “Xianshangongshui” Tourism Area as its core area,  and coordinatingly developed surrounding tourism areas like Pengjiazhai Tourist Attraction, Wujiatai Tribute Tea Culture Tourism Area, Shiziguan Tourism Area, Zhuotianyan Tourist Attraction, Samachangtan Tourism Area. At the same time, it has promoted special delicacy brands such as Wujiatai Tribute Tea, Xianshan Roast Fish, and Gongshuitui Toufu. All of these have contributed to the deep integration of culture and tourism.

According to the introduction, activities and entertainments such as Tribute Tea Culture Festival, Tribute River Sports Meeting, Spring festival light art festival, and National Bicycle Invitational Tournament that reflect local special culture will be held throughout a year. This year Xuanen also launched 4 select tourism tours that combined local special culture and natural resources.

What a tourist can not miss is “Yaotianyan” tourist attraction. It is located at Luoquanyan GeoPark, and its core scenic spot is the sinkhole that is formed 200 million to 250 million years ago through the erosion process of the underground rivers and soluble rocks.

Xuanen’s culture and tourism products favored by Chongqing citizens

At the event, Xuanen issued a series of beneficial tourism policies including free tickets of A-level tourist attractions to Chongqing citizens and rewarding policies to travel agencies.

Outside the promotion event, Xuanen set up booths to display its remarkable culture and tourism products like Gongshui White Grape Fruits and Wujiatai Tribute Tea, which attracted lots of attention. For example, enjoying over 100-year history of cultivation, Gongshui White Grape Fruits have a very good flavor. It wins the gold reward from China Agricultural Expo and it’s also a labeled product by Chinese National Geography. Nowadays Gongshui White Grape Fruits have been processed into grapefruit tea and wine. Apart from garnering lots of rewards nowadays, Wujiatai Tribute Tea once received praises from Qianlong Emperor in Qing Dynasty.
