Chongqing - On the night of Dec 16, 2020 China Hip Hop Awards Ceremony was held at Chongqing Grand Theatre. 15 rewards covering the most influential male dancer, the most influential female dancer, and so forth were presented.

“China Hip Hop Awards Ceremony” is an annual grand event for street dancers in China, which aims to reward outstanding individuals, troupes, and organizations in the field of street dance. This year’s “China Hip Hop Awards Ceremony” was a part of the“Dancing Mountain City Championship” International Street Dance Competition with over 60 China’s top street dancers attending it.
At the ceremony, 15 rewards including the most influential dancers, 2020 top 10 popular dancers, the most influential street dance troupe were presented. Yang Kai, the champion of the third season of “This Is Street Dance” garnered two rewards namely the most influential male dancer and the most competitive dancer. Su Lianya, one member of T.I Dancing Troupe, won the most influential female dancer, and Jiang Dechao, the hip hop instructor, garnered the new prominent dancer.

Meanwhile, street dancers brought a fantastic street dancing show to audiences, which pushed the ceremony to heights. For instance, the champion winner in team dancing of the“Dancing Mountain City Championship” International Street Dance Competition - Chongqing Street Dance League brought a dance named “007”, and a street dance troupe from Yunnan Province who won the award of the most unique style in team dancing brought a dance named “Playing Chess”.

The“Dancing Mountain City Championship” International Street Dance Competition was launched at the beginning of December, and a series of themed activities like a street dance training camp, an international street dance competition, an avant-garde youth exchange forum, an urban fashion flash show, and 2020 Hip Hop Awards Ceremony were held. Top street dancers from home and abroad were invited to be judges, and over 1000 dancers throughout China had joined the competition.
