“Bayu Attractions” to Help the Cultural Tourism Industry

The all-media promotion activity of "Bayu Attractions" kicked off on December 24. By utilizing various media channels and offline activities, this event presented the new charm of the landscape of Chongqing from multiple aspects, so as to consolidate and strengthen the momentum of the recovery of the city's cultural tourism industry, create a new name card for tourist attractions in the Internet era, and continuously expand and release the influence and transformation of large-scale cultural tourism promotion activities in all districts and counties of Chongqing including "Share Cultures and Landscapes" and "Chongqing Showcase".

Co-organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee, Chongqing Branch of the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission, and Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and undertaken by publicity departments, branches of the office of cyberspace affairs commission and cultural tourism commissions at all districts and counties, the event promoted first 50 selected attractions with market potentials, such as Youyang Dieshi Valley Scenic Area, Chongqing Sunac Cultural Tourism City, Nantian Lake in Fengdu, national scenic areas, and Diaoyu Fortress in Hechuan. All the attractions are a blend of culture, history, and modern fashion.

As for the promotion through various channels, Chongqing Daily made a special column for "Bayu Attractions". Chongqing News covered the city's special scenic areas. 30-second short clips about scenic areas were launched. Specifically, one special spot of one scenic area was recommended every Monday and Thursday. Every Friday, the visit routes, plans, special offers, and interactive activities of the corresponding scenic spots were launched.

Youyang Dieshi Valley

As for offline promotion, activities such as live streaming, immersive interactions, and group-visiting was organized to attract citizens and visitors, cultivate cultural tourism brands, and boost consumption.

Moreover, the online cultural tourism centers of all districts and counties launched new sectors including attractions promotion, main activities, special offers, and recommended routes.
