Chongqing- On the evening of January 1st, the “Two River and Four Banks” Night Market Culture & Tourism Exhibition was launch at the Danzishi Square of Nanbin Road in Naping District. The exhibition is one of the serials of activities held in the 5th Chongqing Culture & Tourism Consumption Season. This activity will fully demonstrate Chongqing’s night economy industries that including the night market, the night tourism, the night shows, and the night exhibitions. It will boost the night consumption in business such as “the two-river cruise” and the “streets tour” in town.
The launch ceremony of the exhibition
The event invited six prominent national representatives from the city’s ordinary posts like community workers, factory workers, medical staff, and so on to launch it. After they put six modules that stood for “the city’ s strength” into a giant Rubik’s cube, the Night Market Culture & Tourism Exhibition was unveiled with skyscrapers, architectures, and bridges on banks being lit up with dazzling lights to stage an impressive light show Bayu Night Feast.

The light show Bayu Night Feast displayed the charming culture and tourism like the marvelous Three Gorges, intricate Huangjuewan Interchanges, brilliant Dazu Rock Carvings, Tongliang Dragon Dances, and beautiful poetry. The colossal screen presented Chongqing's fast development and achievements in the field of unmanned driving, the Smart China Expo, China Railway Express, and so on.

Apart from the light show Bayu Night Feast, the three-day Night Market Culture and Tourism Exhibition will display 6-theme exhibitions, namely the Fantastic City, the Night of Time and Space, the Celebration of Life, Fascinating Cyber, the Light of Future, and Buildings and Images. The dazzling installation arts, the art space with lights and shadows, and the integration of the light-shadow art and modern technology will bring an unforgettable visual feast and immersive experience to visitors. For example, if visitors move their fingers on the sensor instrument at the Fascinating Cyber pavilion, music and lights will change with movements.
