Wujiang Pickle: Build Green and Intelligent Production Bases

On December 29, the 2021 New Strategy Launch Meeting of Wujiang Pickle Brand was held in Chongqing Sunac International Conference Center. At the meeting, Chongqing Fuling Zhacai Group said it would make a concentrated effort on the Wujiang brand and stick to the strategy of developing a multi-ten-billion brand in 3-5 years to diversify the product line, expand the pickle market and usher the pickle industry into a new era.

“Despite advantages in branding, scale, industrial chain, the original place of raw materials and other aspects, the pickle industry is constrained by backward concepts, inactive brand, and other pain points. In the future, we will build a consumer operation center, a sales management center, and a brand’s production center, make our production process become digital as soon as possible, and build intelligent factories, thereby providing a strong guarantee for the rapid growth of the market.” Guided by the new strategy, the Group will take a systematic set of measures in the product, channel, and brand, for example, upgrading product packaging and innovating terminal mini experience shops, to improve product quality and interaction experience for consumers, said Chairman Zhou Binquan.

Notably, the Group announced on the evening of December 28 that the CSRC Public Offering Review Committee approved its application for non-public issuance of A-shares. The issuance intends to raise a fund of 3.3 billion yuan to build green and intelligent production bases, develop intelligent information systems, and other projects for pickle production.
