“In 2020, Chongqing’s actual utilization of foreign capital was expected to reach 10.272 billion U.S. dollars, and the foreign direct investment (FDI) reached 2.101 billion U.S. dollars, ranking first in the midwest region," said Zhang Yingxian, Chairman of Chongqing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment. A total of 287 new foreign-invested enterprises were settled in Chongqing throughout the year, a year-on-year increase of 28.7%.
