Chongqing - On April 16, Wuxi Consumption Support Activity Week has started in China Western Consumption Poverty Alleviation Center. Over 100 kinds of high-quality agricultural products and cultural and creative products from Wuxi County were all on sale for 85% off during the whole activity week. People can go shopping in the Wuxi Hall of the center or take orders online in 832 Platform, Jingdong Wuxi Poverty Alleviation Area, Bawei Zhenyu, and Cuncunwang, etc.
In the opening ceremony of the week, Chongqing Government General Office Support Group and Yuzhong District have respectively signed the strategic cooperation contracts of consumption support with Wuxi County. Tai’an Enterprise, Yuzhong Enterprise, and Chongqing Government General Office Support Group Enterprise have signed the poverty alleviation products purchase contracts at the total amount of 12 million yuan.

According to the report of Wuxi County, in 2021，Wuxi has been taking measures for eight new patterns such as government purchase underwriting, support units selling, shopping malls and supermarkets selling, and E-Commerce marketing, etc. Those measures helped to sell agricultural products for 0.23 billion yuan, and over 10,000 poverty-stricken households to increase their income.
