China, Italy to Promote Cultural Exchanges via CGV Cinemas Film Exhibition

Chongqing- The theme of CGV Cinemas 2021 Art Museum-Italian Film Exhibition · Chongqing Station was held at CGV Cinemas Chongqing Raffles Store on May 14.

Promoting cultural exchanges between China and Italy, the Film Exhibition will focus on top art film exhibitions and select well-made works with diverse perspectives.

Showing the charm of art museums to audiences, the exhibition will promote domestic-related industries while learning from the producing experience and introducing excellent foreign art museums.

This screening event brought six art museum-themed documentaries directed by Italian directors and produced by Italian production companies.

The six films screened at the festival involve Palladio, Van Gogh - of Wheat Fields and Clouded Skies, Dinosaurs, The Prado Museum- A Collection of Wonders, The Water Lilies By Monet– The magic of water and light, Hermitage - The Power of Art.

Among them, Palladio is a film project dedicated to Andrea Palladio, the architect who, with his work, has become one of the reference points for the most important power buildings in the world. It is a journey to discover Palladio’s ancient world and modern legacy.  In 2010, the US Congress passed a resolution, respecting him as the "Father of American Architecture."

CGV currently has more than 370 high-end cinemas and over 2,800 high-quality screens in China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Vietnam, the United States, Indonesia, Turkey, and other countries and regions.

In addition, the "New Scene" high-definition screening series launched by Beijing ATW Culture Media Co., Ltd is dedicated to the world's top high-definition art video screening.
