Chongqing- On July 2, the "2021 Sichuan-Chongqing-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Development Forum on Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation" was held in the West (Chongqing) Science City, with separate branch venues in Sichuan, Hong Kong, and Macao, in an "online + offline" way. The forum aims to enhance the development vitality of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, attract high-end talents and entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and Macao to start a business in Sichuan and Chongqing, and promote cross-regional exchange and synergistic development of these four places.

At the forum, the persons in charge of Sichuan and Chongqing's development and reform commissions introduced the situation of the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, the policies and services for youth development in the two places.
Zhang Yaxi, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, said that the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle provides strong policy support for youth innovation and entrepreneurship. The linkage of Hong Kong, Macao, and the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle is integrating into the national development strategy and an inevitable demand of the times and a new direction for innovative and synergistic development.
Jia Rui, a member of the Standing Committee of Chongqing Youth Federation, Vice President of Chongqing-Macao Youth Association, and Chairman of Macao Xingwulin Limited, has been in Chongqing for three years. He believes that Chongqing has good policies, huge development space, and potential, and it is ideal for young people to start their own business. "Young people from Hong Kong and Macao should visit and see more of Sichuan and Chongqing, take the initiative to understand the relevant national policies and the market environment of the two places, to seize the development opportunities tightly."
Later, youth representatives from Sichuan, Chongqing, Hong Kong, and Macao shared their entrepreneurial experiences and development ideas, gave advice for the youth to start up their own business with innovation in the technology+ era, and sent out invitations for cooperation to the youth.
This forum also led to the Chongqing-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Innovation Entrepreneurship Base jointly with the Hong Kong-Chongqing-Taiwan Youth Exchange Promotion Association to set up Hong Kong and Macao offices, respectively.
Xiang Junling, the executive vice president of Hong Kong-Chongqing-Taiwan Youth Exchange Promotion Association, said that the association would play the role to promote the communication of talents, the resource interconnection, scientific research results, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Chongqing, Hong Kong, and Macao cooperation, and also provide a platform for Hong Kong and Macao youth to understand the Mainland.
