A Belarusian Business Girl: China Embraces the World with an Open Mind | The CPC in My Eyes

Chongqing –" Harmony in diversity is a famous quote by Confucius," said Olga Zelkovskaya, from Belarus, the Director of Belarusian Center of Tourist and Cultural Products.  "I've always been very curious about China, and things like this interest me greatly. For me, starting up my own business is also a wonderful way to understand China."

In this episode, she described the changes she witnessed after The Belt and Road Initiative, the huge success of poverty alleviation. She also admired the effective action to COVID on the government level.

Olga Zelkovskaya owns an international trading company in Yubei District, Chongqing. She was studying Chinese at Chongqing University when she came to China for the very first time. After that, she worked at the Belarusian Embassy in China and China Central Television. In 2018, she got a Mater's Degree in Philosophy at Peking University and returned to Chongqing. Till now, she has been in China for ten years.
