Ordovician Rope Jumping Challenge Impressed Foreign Audiences

Chongqing - On July 31, the 4th Ordovician International Extreme Challenge kicked off in the Dream Ordovician Theme Park of Wansheng, Chongqing.

The Ordovician International Extreme Challenge is an annual event that is set to challenge participants physically and mentally. Rope jumping, a major program of the challenge event, is a new and thrilling activity popular among extreme-sports lovers from home and overseas. This year the Dream Ordovician Theme Park invited Duan Shujun, who started rope jumping in China, and his professional team to set up the whole project for the rope jumping.

24 teams from all over China joined the challenge on July 31. Single jumping and double jumping brought thrilling experiences to participants. The jumping platform established at a cliff was around 300 meters above the ground. After leaping down, tied with the rope, participants would swing forth and back like taking a huge swing. At the challenge site, many participants were dressed up for this event to give a fancy and unique show. Some of them were dressed in Hanfu, Chinese traditional cloth. When they swung back and forth in the valley covered with lush green plants, they looked like flying ancient Chinese Kungfu Masters from movies. One girl told our reporter that dressing up in Hanfu and flying in the valley made her feel that she had travel back to ancient times, and the scenery of the theme park was amazing.

The appealing scenery of the Dream Ordovician Theme Park and breathtaking rope jumping challenge impressed many foreign audiences. Some of them said the theme park was an amazing place, some wished to come to the site and experience the rope jumping in person, and some cheered for the participants.

According to the introduction, The rope jumping challenge program will be held on July 31st, August 1st, 7th, and 8th.
