Regional Cooperation Pavilion Shines at China-SCO Forum and Smart China Expo 2021

Chongqing - China-SCO Forum on Digital Economy Industry and Smart China Expo 2021 was held in Chongqing from August 23 to 25. Regional cooperation is one of the major themes of the events. There are two pavilions dedicated to the topic. One of them is the N1, a hall for the development and achievements in the field of the digital economy and big data intelligence by countries along “the Belt and Road,” Chongqing's international friendship cities, as well as some enterprises along The China-Europe Railway Express (Chongqing)and New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. Countries including Singapore, Israel, Korea, Austria, Swiss, Uruguay, Britain, Hungary, Australia, Italy, and the Netherlands set up platforms to exhibit their intelligent technologies and their application.

On August 24, the British pavilion held a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The pavilion showcased the endeavors to enrich life by intelligence technology, especially in the management, protection, and enjoyment of Great Britain’s heritage.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Austria pavilion was also held in N1.  Eight different enterprises related to intelligence and digitization present their products, such as water purifiers, cable cars, etc.

Swiss is world-renowned for the Swiss Made, notably its wristwatch, which has been the equivalent of boutique and perfection. One of the Swiss pavilion highlights is Swissflex, an outstanding brand that is committed to smart sleeping. Not only are their products, including pillows and mattresses, designed ergonomically, but also they deploy an intelligent system called “finest sleep technology,” with a smart bed frame, which can auto-adjust the bed to the most comfortable angle following every movement of the user’s bodies.

The Singapore Pavilion is one of the bright spots for this year’s expo, with its light and spacious booth. This is the second year for Singapore to participate in the Expo as a co-host, with 51 Singapore companies’ attendance. Most of them are information technology firms that focus on developing the digital economy to enhance digital connectivity of the world, emphasizing the cooperation and win-win strategies between Singapore and China, especially Chongqing.

Centering on the six themes, including smart city, smart movement, smart relaxation, smart sports, smart agriculture, and smart medical treatment, Hungary presents 22 product forms in their booth, all of which is delivered from Hungary and manifests their concept of Smart Hungary and their willingness of solving the global challenges by intelligent technology.
