In the afternoon of December 23, the "Craftsmanship - Japanese Traditional Crafts Exhibition" in Chongqing opened in Chongqing International Cultural Tourism Window. The exhibition will be held from December 23, 2021, to January 9, 2022, at the Chongqing International Cultural Tourism Window.
In 2021, C-Tech Conservation Company overcame the epidemic and organized a touring exhibition of a dozen artisan crafts in Japan. The exhibition was presented at the 2021 Guardian Art Week and the Shanghai Fair, reaping both word-of-mouth and popularity.

The "Artisan's Heart - Traditional Japanese Crafts" exhibition brings nearly 1,000 pieces of original handicrafts such as lacquerware, metalware, ceramics, glassware, and ukiyo-e collected locally in Japan. Through the aesthetics of craftsmanship, Chongqing residents can get a closer and deeper understanding of Japanese history, geography, and culture.
"Although many Japanese craft techniques originated in China, the collision and fusion of the two countries' different cultures and natural environments have led to their unique development trajectory." According to the person in charge of the event, the Japanese culture and the soul of the creator behind them are the "craftsman spirit" that is widely known in China. Through the exhibition, we hope that Chinese art lovers will be able to see these exquisite artifacts from the heart, feel the artisans' pursuit of art, their desire and respect for life, and understand the persistence and dedication, development and innovation of artisans.
