Chongqing - On March 1, Mexin Wine Town theme park of Fuling District Chongqing, held a farewell party for the first group of foreign interns to congratulate the six international students from Yangtze Normal University on completing their four-month internship.

In November 2021, Yangtze Normal University in Fuling District and Mexin Wine Town theme park signed an internship agreement for international students majoring in tourism management. It is the first time for Mexin Wine Town to implement the international interns' program and the first time for the six international students to work in China.
"The daily work had a big influence on me because I've learned a lot by doing different kinds of work. I've had a clearer vision about my future," said Mbama Michel Christ Septime from Congo, the representative for the foreign interns.

In the past four months, Septime did a lot of work with his schoolmates in Mexin Wine Town, including hotel reception, ticket sales, preparation for the new store opening, and amusement equipment operation. "Thanks to Mexin Wine Town for providing such a good platform for us. The Four-month internship was short but unforgettable, and I benefited a lot from it," Septime said at the farewell party.
Spending the Chinese New Year in Mexin Wine Town was another unforgettable experience for the international interns. International students better understood the catering and amusement businesses and Chinese culture by participating in various Chinese folk activities, including writing calligraphy, making dumplings, and making lanterns.

"The cooperation with Yangtze Normal University not only attracted more theme park customers but also became a new carrier for the dissemination of folk culture," said a representative from Mexin Wine Town theme park, adding that the park would carry out diverse cooperation with Yangtze Normal University in the future and cultivate future talents for the travel and tourism industry.
