Chongqing- The Yangtze River is the third-longest river in the world. She flows from west to east through central China. The river basin also serves about 20% of China’s landmass.

There are eleven provinces and municipalities along the Yangtze River, including Chongqing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, which combine to form the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

This economic belt drives a population and GDP output both in excess of 40% nationwide.
