New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor | Follow James ⑭

Chongqing- In ancient times, there was the Silk Road connecting China with Asia and Europe. Nowadays we have the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor or ILSTC. So what exactly does this term mean?

This new corridor has been jointly constructed between Singapore and the provincial regions of Western China, with Chongqing at the operational center, and provinces like Guizhou, Gansu and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as connection nodes utilizing railroads, sea shipping, and public highways to transport goods around the world.

The biggest advantage is that transportation times have been greatly reduced, as the ILSTC saves around 10 days as compared to shipping through Eastern China.
