"This year marks the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands. The past five decades have witnessed great progress and changes in cooperation of science and technology, economy, logistics, sports and culture between the two countries, which are also deeply reflected in our bilateral relations," said Mr. Buise.

Culture is the language of the world and the perfect tool for strengthening connections with people around the world. In addition to tulips and windmills, black and white cattle are also part of the Dutch culture. The presentation of black and white cattle is beneficial to promoting bilateral cultural exchanges. CG Huub Buise hoped that the people of Chongqing would like these painted cattle. They can think of the friendly, innovative, constructive, and creative Netherlands whenever they see them.

The painted cattle model is made of 3D printing technology and sustainable, biodegradable materials, and the size is close to a live Dutch cattle. Chinese and Dutch artists and visitors jointly painted three cattle donated by the Dutch Consulate General in Chongqing to the Foreign Affairs Office, the Yuzhong District Government, and the TESTBED 2 as a symbol of the friendly cultural exchange between China and the Netherlands.
