Cuntan Port | Follow James

Chongqing- Construction of the Chongqing Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port Area was approved in 2008, a development which paved the way for this Bayu era ferry wharf to rise to prominence and embrace a new era.

This modern port by the Yangtze River is now home to 15 national pavilions from overseas, with 45,000 different imported products available on display. In addition, the Belt and Road Special Commodities Trade and Culture Week has now become a signature event, where consumers may buy global products at this one venue.

As one of six major namecards for Chongqing, the Cuntan International Ocean Liner Port is the largest to have been re-purposed from cargo to passenger traffic.

Here, the world’s first boarding bridge to rise and fall with the ever changing river levels offers an impressive experience, as well as a glimpse towards a wonderful future where Chongqing and the world embrace.
