Singapore-based VR Company Seeks Further Collaboration Via Smart China Expo

Chongqing - Aviation Virtual is a Singapore-based VR company that has developed VR solutions for the Chinese market under the joint grant and is now marketing to end users. In the last two Smart China Expo, the company worked with a Chongqing company, PatentGo, to set up a booth at the SCE and engage with the public with this Chinese partner.

During an interview with iChongqing, Aviation Virtual's managing director, Dr. Chong Chee Leong expressed the hope to seek further cooperation with Chongqing via Smart China Expo 2022. 

Aviation Virtual is a virtual reality startup that provides virtualization solutions across various industries, including aviation, marine and offshore, and building construction.

Their smart VR visualizer allows people to view software-generated visualizations. That's content that is used to build up scenarios. Additionally, they offer mixed reality training with virtual reality.

The company has been providing aviation training solutions in China with its Chinese partners in Shanghai. In addition, it has developed building inspection and checking solutions for Chongqing's construction sector.

"So we are also trying to expand into other things we could do with them in China. This includes not just the building construction industry, but also smart cities and a lot of the applications that are our bread and butter," said Dr. Chong.
