Colorful Activities for Tourists to Enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival

Chongqing - The Mid-Autumn Festival holiday approaches, and various scenic spots have prepared various activities for residents and tourists to enjoy the holiday in Southwest China's Chongqing. There are ways to spend a holiday, including appreciating the moon, enjoying exhibitions, camping, making homemade mooncakes, playing parent-child games, experiencing folk performances, and watching fireworks shows.

Chongqing Happy Valley has introduced preferential measures as part of its "enjoying the moon and the golden autumn" event. Visitors can make moon cakes with the assistance of pastry chefs and experience the moon cake blind boxes and the moon cake Gashapon (capsule toy) machines. In addition, the scenic area will host a night performance during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. In addition to more than 40 large-scale amusement projects such as roller coasters, pendulum rides, and Ferris wheels, tourists can also participate in special effects dramas and live shows.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Jinfo Mountain scenic spot will hold dance performances, a Hanfu clothing parade, and other performances in Qianniuping scenic spot. Yaochiba Scenic Spot and Tianxing Town are set up with traditional exciting games such as DIY lanterns and hand-painted fans to provide an interactive experience.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Chongqing Natural History Museum will develop a different way of viewing the moon. The museum has created four areas, namely "Deep Travel Exhibition · Exploration of the Earth," "Creative Hand Painting · Moon Lamp," "Science Course · Journey to the Moon," and "Practical Exploration · Assembling Lunar Rover." Children can discover the mysteries of the universe and the moon in the four exhibition areas.

On Longmenhao Old Street, there will be Mid-Autumn Festival activities. A lighting art installation with an 8-meter diameter will be installed on the viewing platform at the highest point of the old street so that citizens and tourists can "admire the moon." In addition, there will be various activities to experience Mid-Autumn Festival customs.

Gujing Square in Shibati traditional style area will launch Happiness Well PK. Those who achieve a specific score in the activity can win cultural and creative prizes. Additionally, musical activities will enhance the night tour's fun.
