On the afternoon of November 9, the "Filmmaker Salon" was launched. With the theme of " Relationship between Directors and Actors," this salon invited five film practitioners, including Stanley Kwan and Ancy Deng. Stanley Kwan is a famous director in Hong Kong, China. He has directed a series of classic films and won many domestic and foreign awards. Stanley Kwan shared his casting experience while filming "Center Stage." He believes that actors should know the characters before they can enter the state of the show. He said there is a trusting relationship between the director and the actor. The director understands the actor's experience and daily life, which can help the actor to transfer emotions during the filming process.

On the evening of the same day, the "Film and Times" new book-sharing session was live-streamed, and the keynote speaker, Director Xie Fei, came to the studio with his new book "The Creation of a Film Director. "

Director Xie Fei was born in Yan'an, Shaanxi Province, in 1942. He is a fourth-generation director in China and a professor in the Director Department of Beijing Film Academy. His representative works include "A Girl from Hunan," "Black Snow," "Our company," and "A Mongolian Tale," making him the winner of several international and domestic awards. Xie Fei started his film teaching career after graduating in 1965; he said that to improve the quality of teaching, he used his practical experience as an example and sorted out the lectures of the professional directing class. In August 2022, he published The Creation of a Film Director, which combines autobiographical and film-theoretical approaches.
