Chongqing Changan Invites Universities Worldwide to Explore Intelligent Travel

Chongqing- On November 13, Changan Automobile held the Data Application Industry Development and Innovation Talent Training Forum at Tsinghua University, focusing on improving intelligent travel through the technical exchange.

Tsinghua University is a top university in China that receives overseas students and allows academic exchanges. Many experts from the education and transportation fields gathered to discuss the industrial trend and talent training online and offline.

The forum is a subactivity of the Changan Automobile Cup Global&Chinese University Students Data Application Innovation Competition. The competition focuses on intelligent travel and data application solutions in traffic scenes.

The data used in the competition are from the road driving data collected by Changan's autonomous vehicles, allowing competitors to play their characteristics in the actual data to generate innovative ideas.

Since the competition launched in September, it has attracted young students from 138 well-known universities worldwide. Finally, 15 teams got into the global finals, including Tsinghua University, the University of Science and Technology of China, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the University College London, the University of Edinburgh, the University of California Los Angeles, and others.

At the forum, experts believe that the competition provides a professional platform for technical exchange for Chinese college students worldwide and a channel for students to learn from theory to experiment, leading high-level innovative research achievements to the market. Meanwhile, the competition offers a new path to select talents for the data application industry.
